This article explains how to import customers using Storeshop's standard excel templates
If your customers is imported to Storeshop through an Excel file, you have to use a standard excel template. This can be downloaded here: Click here to download
The template consists of:
- Customer Id
- Customer name
- Address
- State
- ZIP code
- Mobile
Explanation of columns:
Customer Id: Customer Id for your customer. Should be the same as in accounting system.
Customer name: Customer name or company name.
Email: Email for later inviting the customer
Address: Address
State: State/country
ZIP code: Zip Code
Mobile: Phone number
NB: Only "Customer Id" and "Customer name" is required fields. The rest of the columns can stay empty if no additional information is needed.
How to import customers:
When finished with the excel-file go to your domain and add "/storeshop/importcustomers" after the websites domain. Example: www.storeshop.no/storeshop/importcustomers
Upload the Excel file and the customers will appear in the webshop in a few minutes.
